OUR GRAND PLAN
We are spending our retirement years traveling. We want to see the United States…every State and every National Park. There are also many countries on our list to visit…and revisit. But these plans mean change…big change for us.
In the summer off 2012 we sold our home in Charbonneau…a golf community in Wilsonville, Oregon.
We had lived there for 18 years, and had accumulated stuff in every one of those years…plus the stuff we brought with us. We decided to not keep any of our stuff…saving only our fine pottery collection and other art. We had a huge “garage” sale, gifted the kids, and became best friends with Community Warehouse and Good Will.
On August 18th…at 8:12pm…we said goodbye to the house and embarked upon our dream.
We started our travels with a planned a trip to the San Juan Islands with grandson Zane, and two weeks of golf in Hawaii, where we were joined by brother Norm and niece Kachina. We returned to the mainland and headed South for the winter. First stop, Palm Springs.
